Setting up services and pricing

Setting up services and pricing

The  Services & Pricing   tab within the Admin area contains four tabs:
  1. Onboarding Services, where the services are described, organised and priced.
  2. Service Plans, where plans are created once the Onboarding Services are ready.
  3. BD Pricing, where streamlined pricing is entered for Business Development services.
  4. Payment Options, where the Payment Terms and Payment Settings are configured.
When set up, the information in these tabs will pull through to your proposals.

Your Implementation Plan

It's crucial to have the required leadership and strategy conversation before setting up your Services & Pricing. We recommend printing (or reviewing on screen) the default list of Onboarding Services, and how they're currently categorised and described.

To ensure best practice Services & Pricing implementation, follow the below steps:
  1. Decide who will be part of your Services & Pricing Implementation Team, including:
    1. Decision makers
    2. Senior accountant representation
    3. Administration team representation
  2. As a team, determine your service offering:
    1. Decide your Service Categories (and their order)
    2. Decide your Services within each category (and their order)
    3. Define your Service Descriptions and decide if these should appear on proposals
    4. Define additional Services outside the default list
  3. Set your base pricing for each Service and decide if line pricing should appear on proposals:
    1. Agreed price
    2. Estimated price
    3. Price range
  4. Define your Service Plans:
    1. Name of each Service Plan
    2. Service offering within each Service Plan
  5. Review BD Pricing:
    1. Determine number of sessions for coaching services
  6. Determine your preferred Payment Options:
    1. Payment Terms
    2. 100% Upfront Payment Discount
    3. Monthly Payment Loading %
    4. Split Payment (e.g. 50% upfront, 50% upon completion)
