Using BOMA in The Gap Portal

Using the catalogue

The Gap + BOMA Content Library Catalogue contains links to each BOMA article, split into different topics. This makes it easy for Gap members to identify a service they would like to focus their marketing activities on and send out relevant educational articles with a call to action related to that service. Clicking the name of the article will take you directly to that article in BOMA.

Navigate to Main menu > Marketing > The Gap + BOMA  to access  The Gap + BOMA Content Library Catalogue.

Using the BOMA button

All webinar, seminar and workshop marketing emails can be sent via BOMA by clicking the  button next to the name of the email. This button will take you to the webinar template set up in BOMA.  Prior to sending the email, ensure that you have:

  1. Updated the date and time
  2. Added your registration link and deleted any instruction text
  3. Reviewed and updated the intro content and email body to match your firm’s voice
Important info
You can also access Gap content directly from BOMA by selecting The Gap filter in the Content Library tab.

Customising your content in BOMA

It's best practice to modify BOMA content before sending it. All content in BOMA can be customised to reflect your firm's voice and branding:
  1. Change the images: choose from the images available or upload your own (e.g. engaging a photographer to take photos)
  2. Change the heading or title of your posts
  3. Change the intro and closing paragraph
  4. Tweak the text so it represents your business, services, values, region and clients
  5. Change the post content for each social channel so followers on multiple platforms do not see the exact same message
  6. Add your own hashtags (search the tags first to see what comes up)
Warning!
Ensure you have the right to use any images you upload to BOMA.
